“As a solo singer with just guitar he harnesses a very striking power, both through his prose and his delivery, which carry the weight of those words." -Folk Radio UK
Cameron Blake's music has touched the hearts of people all over the world. His keen eye for detail and skill for writing songs that reveal flesh and blood human lives has earned praise from the likes of The Huffington Post, No Depression and Paste. Ranging from gospel-fired, high energy roots rock to introspective folk, Blake's music is as diverse as his personal story. He started as a violinist and received a Master’s Degree from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. Compassion and burnout took him beyond the practice room and onto the street, where he regularly worked with the poor. Sharing what he experienced was the starting point for a new path as a songwriter. Since moving to Michigan, Blake has released three instrumentally diverse albums that have garnered international acclaim.
